Fanzia Joins SportsTech Belgium Ahead of FIFA World Cup

Bridging Sports and Immersive Fan Technology Internationally

Los Angeles— November 18, 2022 — On October 31, 2022, Fanzia was selected to be one of the international startups in Sportstech Belgium’s 2nd annual accelerator program. Organized in partnership with Agoria, the Royal Belgian Football Federation and Wallifornia, SportsTech Belgium is an ecosystem where sports meet technology, developed to foster Belgian Sports Technology innovations, startups initiatives and entrepreneurship; to build long-term cross-fertilization strategy between Belgian sports and technology stakeholders locally and internationally; and to bring Belgium at the forefront of the international SportsTech ecosystem.

9 startups have been hand-picked to take part in the 2022 SportsTech Belgium’s Accelerator and a selection was made by the initiating partners, as well as an international jury of sport, SportsTech and e-sports experts, based on the startups’ innovative potential, their business model, their potential impact on the industry and the teams’ execution ability.

The selected startups fit into one of four focus areas of the program.

As a fan engagement and marketing platform, Fanzia will look to immediately make an impact by partnering with other startups and plugging into the marketing strategy of the sporting partners like the Belgium Football Federation. Fanzia will plan to lean on a blend of talent, proprietary software, and partnerships to bring immersive experiences for fans and organically scale marketing efforts and generating sponsorship value for developing and professional leagues and teams internationally.

Founded in 2021, Fanzia is a marketing, livestreaming, and fanbase management company with a mission to help sports/e-sports organizations and entertainment brands improve organic engagement, sponsorships, and sales by through professional broadcasting, marketing, and engagement incentivization. The company offers three core services designed to create and evolve an immersive channel through which fans can be rewarded for their loyalty, engagement, and dedication.

Fanzia is on track to launch the IOS app in December of 2022 through which fans will be able to interact with different challenges and redeem them for unique rewards, experiences, and digital collectibles.
